The remake of an old shot I have never published on FlickR. Nothing special really.

Enjoy anyway! And Happy Fence Friday everyone!
"FISH!!!"

chmeermann posted a photo:

This image MUST be viewed on black and as large as possible. Otherwise it won't look any good.

Post processing was pretty tricky, especially the whiskers. I hope you like it.

Additional note, posted 2 days after the initial posting of this image:
My FlickR contact Tafelzwerk commented on this image, stating that he could see grey specks and areas around the sea lion. He assumed that they weren't visible for most other FlickR users as his laptop screen isn't calibrated properly and is set too bright. I checked this out and found out he was right. I pumped up the brightness of this image and these grey areas appeared on my screen, too. I removed these areas and reset the brightness to normal. Then I replaced this originally uploaded image with the improved one. For most people, however, both images should look the same anyway.

From now on, this brightness test shall be part of my "on black"-post processing routine.
Thanks to Tafelzwerk for his sharp eyes and badly calibrated display. You should check out his photo stream. He is a much better photographer than me.
