After a small break in Lithuania i am back (for a short-while again). A walk in Druskininkai, a little resort and beautiful city, can never go wasted! Those pansies have a good share in the planted flowers which cover the space left among the huge trees!

An out of season shot taken on January in Trakai, Lithuania. The couple was walking literally on the icy lake while the fisherman, the same one from this photo, was going to his spot to try his luck with some fish.

Probably the couple was heading to the Užutrakis Manor House which stands out against the forest, on the shore opposite of Trakai castle.

A B&W from Lake Marathon. We visited the lake some days ago and while trying (unsuccessfully) to find a way closer to the water we followed this dirt road high on the shore. The day was bright but i managed to spot the airplane on the sky only in the processing of the photo!

An older photo remastered into a new edition. This is much closer to what the reflections and the sun created that day. I would like the little boy to be in the middle of the frame though...but we cannot have everything in this life, right? :P

The castle of Trakai is a wonderful escape from Vilnius. One of the towers of the castle against a dramatized, a bit, sky. The red bricks of the castle, the waters of lake Galve and the green forests surroundinging it create an, almost, fairytale atmosphere.

Near Athens the places to have a nice sunset are too few. One of them is the beach of Aspropyrgos. It might not be extremely beautiful or breathtaking but among the fish taverns and the nearby factories one can find some nice spots with a good view over the horizon and the island of Salamina.
