1st shot of the theme "people and the big city"

He is always there -the dog- people come and go, take photos, watch various musicians from the world, have a quick meal, and tired, sit some hour to take a rest, dog resting with them, he knows people will not do harm to him, people know his is harmless, homeless, and he needs their friendship. This happens every hour of the day, so dog is never alone any more.

Sunday morning, a very cold day of this winter, I went to Athens, to walk and take photos of the city, they are rather many photos, but I wanted to show my walk from the beggining , Omonia, to the end, Monastiraki. Some of them have color, some others are in sepia, it has to do with the weather, and with the circumstances our capital city is suffering those last years. I hope you will like them.

Προβληματίστηκα πολύ, για το αν πρέπει η μάλλον αν θέλω να πω κάτι για την σημερινή γιορτή της γυναίκας, της γυναίκας που αγωνίστηκε για να είναι ισότιμη με τον άνδρα, έγιναν πολλά λάθη και από μέρους της, πολλές παρεξηγήσαμε αυτόν τον αγώνα. Γιορτάζει λοιπόν η γυναίκα σήμερα, η γυναίκα που γεννά, μεγαλώνει παιδιά, σπουδάζει, εργάζεται και συνεισφέρει ισότιμα ίσως και παραπάνω πολλές φορές, στηρίζει τον άνδρα, τα παιδιά, τους γονείς και τους φίλους, που εξακολουθεί να εργάζεται και μετά την επιστροφή στο σπίτι , συνεχίζει να προσφέρει ακόμα και σε μεγάλη ηλικία, συχνά μέχρι να την εγκαταλείψουν οι δυνάμεις της, και συγχρόνως πρέπει να είναι και γυναίκα, επιθυμητή, γελαστή και όμορφη. Δυστυχώς δεν χαίρομαι για την γιορτή όσο υπάρχουν γυναίκες που φορούν μπούργκα, που λιθοβολούνται γιατί έπεσαν σε ένα παράπτωμα, που περπατούν λίγο πιο πίσω από τον άντρα.... σε πολλές χώρες συμβαίνει ...
Θέλω να τελειώσω απευθύνοντας ένα μήνυμα στους άνδρες "δεν θέλουμε να είμαστε πίσω σας, ούτε απέναντί σας , αλλά δίπλα σας , χέρι με χέρι" .
