Im Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft auf der Halbinsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst steht der Leuchtturm Darßer Ort. Er wurde 1848 erbaut und ist der zweitälteste Turm an der Küste in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und gleichzeitig der älteste, der heute noch betrieben wird. Der Turm ist 35,4 m hoch. Im Inneren führt eine im Original erhaltene grüne Wendeltreppe aus Gußstahl mit 134 Stufen nach oben zu einer Aussichtsplattform. Die Tritte der Treppe sind massiv gefertigt, während man durch die durchbrochenen Muster der Setzstufen hindurchsehen kann. Der Turm ist nur zu Fuß, per Rad oder mit der Pferdekutsche zu erreichen.

In the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park on the peninsula Fischland-Zingst-Darß there is the lighthouse Darßer place. It was built in 1848 and is the second oldest tower on the coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, while the oldest, which is still practiced today. The tower is 35.4 meters high. The interior is preserved in its original green spiral staircase made of cast steel with 134 steps leads up to a viewing platform. The steps of the staircase are massively produced while you can see through the openwork pattern of the risers. The tower is accessible only on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.

Wir waren drei Wochen mit dem Wohnmobil auf einer schönen und interessanten Entdeckungsreise durch Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Deutschland. Ich möchte euch einige Bilder dieser Reise zeigen und beginne mit einem Bild aus Brandenburg:

Schloss Rheinsberg liegt in der Gemeinde Rheinsberg, etwa 100 km nordwestlich von Berlin im Landkreis Ostprignitz-Ruppin. Das am Ostufer des Grienericksees gelegene Schloss gilt als Musterbeispiel des sogenannten Friederizianischen Rokokos und diente auch als Vorbild für Schloss Sanssouci (Wikipedia)

Das Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas im Zentrum Berlins ist seit 2005 die zentrale Holocaust-Gedenkstätte Deutschlands, ein Ort der Erinnerung und des Gedenkens an die bis zu sechs Millionen Opfer. Das Denkmal besteht aus dem von Peter Eisenman entworfenen Stelenfeld sowie dem unterirdischen Ort der Information und wird von einer Bundesstiftung unterhalten.

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in central Berlin since 2005, the central Holocaust memorial place in Germany, a place of remembrance and commemoration of up to six million victims. The monument consists of a field of stelae designed by Peter Eisenman and the underground information and is maintained by a national foundation.

Wolframs-Eschenbach ist eine kleine Stadt in Mittelfranken / Bayern. Der Ortskern ist weitgehend aus dem Mittelalter und der Renaissance erhalten. Die Ordensritter des Deutschen Ordens fassten hier 1212 Fuss und prägten die Stadt bis 1796. Graben, Türme und Mauern der Stadtbefestigung entstanden im Wesentlichen in der Zeit zwischen 1332 und 1440 und haben bis heute Bestand. Der Dichter des Parzival, Wolfram von Eschenbach, stammt vermutlich aus der Stadt, von 1200-1217 ist seine Schaffenszeit dort nachgewiesen.

Wolframs-Eschenbach is a small town in Middle Franconia in Bavaria. The village is largely preserved from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The knights of the Teutonic Knights came here in 1212 and dominated the city until 1796. Trench, towers and walls of the fortification arose primarily in the period 1332-1440, and endure to this day. The poet of Parzival, Wolfram von Eschenbach, comes probably from the city, from 1200-1217, his work time detected there.

Kölner Dom St. Peter und Maria - begonnen mit dem Bau wurde im Jahre 1248 und nach mehr als 600 Jahren wurde er 1880 fertiggestellt. Der Dom ist Weltkulturerbe der Unesco und mit der fünfschiffigen gotischen Basilika mit einem dreischiffigen Querhaus die größte Kathedrale Deutschlands. Einige haben mich nach der Frontansicht gefragt – hier eine etwas andere Aufnahme.

Im Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft auf der Halbinsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst gibt es einen Wanderweg durch die Dünenlandschaft, der teilweise auf Brettern verläuft. Sehr schön angelegt und hochinteressant.

In the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park on the peninsula Fischland-Zingst-Darß there is a trail through the dunes, which partly runs on boards. Very nicely arranged and very interesting.

Die „Königliche Villa“ Schloss Linderhof in der oberbayerischen Gemeinde Ettal im südlichen Bayern ist ein Schloss des bayrischen Königs Ludwig II.. Es wurde in mehreren Bauabschnitten von 1869 bis 1886 errichtet. Schloss Linderhof ist das kleinste der drei Schlösser Ludwigs II. und das einzige, das noch zu seinen Lebzeiten vollendet wurde. Linderhof gilt als das Lieblingsschloss des „Märchenkönigs“, in dem er sich mit großem Abstand am häufigsten aufhielt. Das Schloss und die Gartenanlagen sind für Besucher zugänglich. 2009 kamen 451.000 Besucher. (Wikipedia)

Linderhof Palace is in Germany, in southwest Bavaria near Ettal Abbey. It is the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one which he lived to see completed.

Der Französische Dom in Berlin befindet sich am Gendarmenmarkt. Er ist ein Kuppelturm, der zwischen 1780 und 1785 an die Französische Friedrichstadtkirche angebaut wurde. Er hat keine kirchliche Funktion. Die Bezeichnung Dom kommt von dem französischen Wort dôme (Kuppel). Genauso wie der Turm des gegenüberliegenden Deutschen Doms wurde er von König Friedrich II. ausschließlich zugunsten der Prachtentfaltung und der städtebaulichen Wirkung gebaut. Baumeister des Turmes waren Carl von Gontard und Georg Christian Unger. Der Französische Dom wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg am 7. Mai 1944 zerstört und zwischen 1981 und 1987 wieder aufgebaut. The French Cathedralein Berlin is situated on the Gendarmenmarkt. It is a domed tower, was built 1780-1785 to the Friedrichstadtkirche. It has no ecclesiastical function. The name comes from the French word dome. Just as the tower of the opposite German Cathedrale it was built by King Friedrich II for the exclusive benefit of the splendor and the urban effect. Builders of the tower were Carl von Gontard and Georg Christian Unger. The French Cathedral was destroyed in the Second World War on 7 May 1944 and rebuilt 1981-1987.

Als ich nach Köln fuhr, war für mich klar: Eine Nachtaufnahme ist ein Muss. Für manche mag es ein Klischeebild sein, für mich ist es eine schöne Erinnerung an den Besuch in dieser hochinteressanten Stadt.

Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge. When I was in Cologne, it was clear for me: A night shot is a must. For some, it might be a clichéd image, for me it is a beautiful memory of my visit to this exciting city.

Karl der Grosse – Büste in der Aachener Domschatzkammer

Karl der Grosse (742 – 814) war der erste abendländische Kaiser des Mittelalters. Um 1349 – rund 500 Jahre später – entstand diese Büste als Idealbild in Gold und Silber, das in der Aachener Domschatzkammer steht. Die Aufnahme entstand schnell (!) und die Reflektionen des Glases lassen sich nicht ganz entfernen.

Charlemagne - Bust in the Aachen Cathedral Treasury. Charlemagne (742 - 814) was the first Western Emperor of the Middle Ages. Around 1349 - some 500 years later - this bust was created as an ideal in gold and silver, which is in the Aachen Cathedral Treasury. The photo was taken quickly (!) and the reflections of the glass cannot be removed completely.
