Well the hypothesis proved wrong! I can't believe it... 4 days in a row when we can't comb... we might have to move to Tasmania where perfect conditions prevail.
The funny thing is these bold pieces are working so well and this is what I have previously tried to create as specialty pieces . I will put them away for those days when they won't be as abundant.

This looks really wild on the tub but when printed on a dark fabric it will be more subdued.

Seaweed bath

The tub is 2 ½ m x 1m.
It takes 2 hours to fill so that it can cope with 5-6 days work, 9am - 3pm.

The inks we use are oil based. and are mixed with white spirit.

These inks were derived from the old "Gestetner" inks that we used ...once upon a time...for copying text / documents... way before the computer took over.

Scarlet looks rich here but often looks pink on white fabrics, especially if it spreads quickly.
