Brunch at Blackstone's with friends I've known since we were Elementary School students in the 1980's was the perfect coda to my extended weekend back home.

Blackstone's has a motto: "Downtown Flint, where history meets flavor" - which is *perfect*. www.blackstonesgrill.com/

What I especially love about Blackstone's is how "Blackstone's" in this very storefront was originally an upper-scale clothier. This is more of the kind of reinvention for the present and future that Flint needs, to tie in with its illustriuous past.
