It's been awhile since I've been further than arms length from my camera. I don't have a remote, but I'm pretty resourceful. I used my monopod to set my focus area :)

Took this in my daughter's room against her pretty pink walls. She's gone tonight...staying with her grandparents. My mom and dad. I love seeing them with my kids. There's something beautiful there, when you watch your children with your parents. I don't always get along with my parent's...mostly my mom. I love her. I just don't think she understands me. Even at 27 years old, she doesn't quite get me. I wish she did, I think she'd love me more...

I just may catch up with this 365 after all!!!

I just about fell into my camera getting this shot. I kept flinging my head all around and got so dizzy that it was almost a huge disaster. I would have cried it my camera fell over, I mean like really bawled.

Just for the hell of it...
I figured out how to make smoke in PS and just had to play with it...so here it is, lol.
This is one of those shots that I don't think that I'd normally use, but it's being used anyways to fill up space in the 365 :)

Tomorrow is Friday!!! YAY! I have a ton of phone calls to make tomorrow, so I want it to come quickly and hopefully I'll get some good news!

Slowly but surely I will get this project done. I just need to lock myself in bedroom for an hour or so everyday and just look through all of the things that I have acquired at one point or another that I've said to myself would make good props and just play and take pics. Which is what I did for about 30 minutes today until I heard a 5 year old and a dog running though my house...both barking...

I took this the day that a friend of mine told me she lost her second pregnancy in a row. I was heart broken for her and it really hit home for me. I lost 2 babies before Galen. So I was sad and hurting for her.

But, on a happy note, tomorrow, New Year's Eve, I'll be getting to spend the afternoon/evening with KatBee. We're starting the afternoon with a photoshoot for a series that she is working on. She will be shooting with a model at Folsom Lake. Then we will be hanging out at my house, watching movies, looking over pics and eating pizza :) Awesome way to start the New Year!

I got to meet up with the extremely talented Kat and show her around Folsom to fine new locations for shoots :) I had a lot of fun. She's a really sweet person and so easy to get along with!

Does anyone know why this doesn't look as luminous as it does when I look at it in PS? Gah!!! It's driving me insane!

So anyways, I went and bought Roxy some birthday gifts today :) All Barbie stuff, she's going to be soooo excited!!!! I can't wait to see her face. I love shopping for that kid, it's so fun!
