Took this in Bath while I was teaching at Bath Spa University. I a great couple of days teaching at Bath Spa and Glamorgan University last week. I teach a private course as well if you want to, check it out on my site.

Brighton Pavilion Montage

This montage is part of a larger montage that I shot in Brighton, pretty much none stop for 36 hours. The whole thing was filmed by a film crew for O2's YouTube channel. Entrance to Patent Office #2

To get the main entrance of the Entrance to European Patent Office you have cross an iron bridge. It's a bit like a James Bond villain's layer. Click here to see the view going the other way.

It's actually an artwork by tomas saraceno called flying garden at the European Patent Office in Munich.

this is a double exposure brunswick 21a square and it's a bit posh. from 11am till 6pm this weekend i have work on display in an open house with 10 other people including my lovely wife rockcake

most of us the exhibitors are on flickr, in fact that's how me met but it's not all gonna be photography there people involved are: Lee Albrow, Alex Bamford, Lisa Bamford, Kate Benjamin, Maureen Brigden, Hannah Cole, Chris Harrison, Sarah Meredith, Erin O'Connor and Rob Orchard

took this while i was in cardiff spending a day with the Professional Design Practice students at the university of glamorgan. i gave a talk in the morning and did a little mini workshop in the afternoon. did a mini scavenger hunt with the students, i took this for my "perspective". next workshop is in march 2012

few weekends back i went to margate to give a talk at the margate photo fest. i lived in margate between 1989 and 1994 and i had herd that it went to shit after i left but apparently in the last few months since the new Turner Contemporary opened lots of new shops and cafes have opened up and the place is really turning around. seems really nice now defiantly would recommend it for a weekend of day trip.

took this pic while i was teaching one my hot shots photography courses

one of the tasks on the course is to shot a list of 66 things on 2 rolls on film in 3 hours, i always take part as well so the attendees can see what i can do with 2 rolls of film. this was for one of my "tattoo". the next course with places left is on the weekend 22nd-23rd Sep and i also have one coming up in Münich on the 20th - 21st October.

taken though a window from the street. i pressed the camera right up against the glass so as not to get any reflection and this also gave me steady surface to hold my camera against so i did not get any camera shake
