Somethings fishy

This is the side of a van that delivered fish to the sea front. You may notice some jpg compression artefacts in this image, they are not in my photo but actually in the artwork that was printed on the side of the van, when I took it I remembered thinking looking pixelate.

I took this picture while I was teaching one my hot shots photography courses. I just ran one last weekend and had a great time doing it with a great bunch of people!

One of the tasks on the course is to shot a list of 66 things on 2 rolls on film in 3 hours, I always take part as well so the people on the course can see what I can do with 72 exposures. This was for one of "stranger at 80cm", some of the other things on the list are not so literal. The next course is on the 23rd - 24th March in Brighton.

In terms of Olympic parks this one is a classic, the design is off the scale.

my wife rockcake has started a new flickr group called owl friday. the premiss is simple you upload a photo of something owl related on a friday. i don't think its that strict, i think you can add them to the group when ever you want but she only let them in the group on a friday.

this time related posting is something that has come out of her blogging. she has been getting into her blogging recently and she has been making posts of specific days for that to with her inspiration monday witch are only posted on a monday and something for the weekend witch are posted on a friday

when i went to take this the man and son stepped into the frame. i did shot it again but i like this version. mouths after taking this shot i was tracking down the man who writes the headlines for the argus and it turns out this is him! he had walked straight past me and i did not even know
