I'm so happy.. I've taken another step in my photoshop skills. It's wonderful to explore new ways of doing what we want in PS!
I'm also doing well in my college projects.. I was late in my projects and I'm finally catching up on everything.

I've been also working with my parents in our garden! :)

Well, hello ! These past days have been sunny and summerish. It's so good.. I've missed this weather.. Perfect for a walk or a swim! :)

This weekend will be the third in a row I'll be shooting. I'm really trying to get my college work done and to give life to my ideas. So far all good. Hope It stays this way :p

One of my favourites taken this saturday. (on the same day as the previous posted photo).
we had so much fun! The only less-positive detail was the amount of smoke around Sílvia. She was having a hard time posing while having a smoke cloud going towards her face. Luckily It all went better than we expected.

I'll probably take more photos this saturday/sunday. So.. stay tuned ! :))

So yes... I'M BACK :D Finally ! My lenses are fixed and i've got a new project going on so i'm back on track and taking more photos. this was a really big break.. I felt empty without my creative afternoons with amazing friends.

I wish I had more to say, and I probably have, but since I haven't sleep well, I'm going to leave the news to another day.

SO, firstly, I must make a public thank you message to Keith Allso for the amazing gift of another year of pro account in flickr. I was only going to think about re-joining in a pro account in April, but thanks to Keith this happened sooner. Thank you for the support in my work here.. A big big big hug Keith!

Moving on, I was really excited about working on a photo today, so I just went looking for the right one in my previous photoshoots and let things flow while working on it. Since I can't take photos right now (my camera being in repair) this was the way I found to keep experimenting. And boy, I'm glad I did!

I hope you enjoy this. Soon I'm leaving to London/York. Couldn't be happier :)

Self-Portrait

a Simple self-portrait.. Just so I can post something :/
Flickr account is already warning me about the pro account expiration date... The worst thing is that the last year I paid with a friends credit card and I just gave her the necessary money. But she doesn't have a credit card anymore. We don't use it that much around here, so it's hard to pay anything online.. I hope I'll be able to fix this up anytime soon..

And to fill the cup, my camera is having problems, out of nothing the focus stops working, even when it's on manual focus. It just stops. I have to wait like 15min 'til it decides to start working again.
This is the worst thing that could happen since I need my camera to do my college works and projects.. I just hope it's some problem with the lenses and they manage to fix it without having to spend much money.. :/

Oh well..

This was my first experience in pregnancy/maternity photography. This was actually taken in my trip to France. A new experience. The same goes with the photoshop work I did with the photo.. Decided to try some new things.. :)

I've been a bit down this year... low in motivation, inspiration... Have no idea.. it's been hard lately :( Hope it changes..

And to make it worse my camera is having some problems..

This is an old photo I never posted here.. really don't know why. So here it is, just to break with the emptiness in my photostream lately :(
It's been a tiring season but i'm finally on holidays. I didn't fail in my college classes and some exciting things will happen soon:
Besides my trip to london (yet to happen in 29th March) i'm going to France soon !!
From 13rd February to 25th February I will be staying in Antony in my brother's house !! I hope i'll manage to take a lot of photos there.. I need that !

I'll have enough time there so... hurray :D

I'm going through a hard phase... A doubtfull phase. I do not know who I am, what I know and what I want. It seems like I do not have a final opinion about certain subjects (almost all).
I need some time for myself, so I can think and reach to a handfull of conclusions and (maybe) find myself again.
I think i've lost myself on dark rivers, where the water does not flow...

Her music is dreampop of the best kind. Beautiful !

I miss riding my bike in the park, and feel that warm beam of light from the sun. I miss jumping inside a river and just swim with my eyes closed (without slamming my head into a rock ofc). I miss all and much more. Our lives are busy. We need to focus on the best part of life and forget (for a bit) these crazy life routines. :)

I can't believe I forgot to post this one some weeks ago! This one was taken on the same day as "Adrift" or "Give me peace (Are you a ghost or a memory?)" with Emmy Curl as well.
Here it is then, better late than never ,right? :)

I've been trying a bit on studio... it's a lot of fun, and you get some really nice photos but... I really don't know, I constantly have the feeling I will always prefer natural light...
I'll keep trying new things and see how it turns out in the end.. ! :)

It hurts so bad... can't even eat properly... It hurts even when I drink water... Just went to the pharmacy, hope it heals soon.. You know... portuguese people can't have an empty stomache. We love our food too much :P

It was hard to do it since we were already late and the light wasn't as strong as it should be so I was a bit worried in the beginning... It ended nicely tho ! :)

Hope you had a lovely christmas. These past days I was surrounded by my family... Lovely moments. We ate, exchanged gifts... It was truly remarkable.
Today my brother left to France with his girlfriend once again. He's there going after a better life you know... We'll see if the same will happen to me as well, one day...
Now, we must wait for 2013 with a smile in our faces and start it with a joyfull hope. :)
