Mandalay, Myanmar. Young student monks go out everyday in search of their food, that is donated by other people.

When there's a full moon, though, it's the people who come to their monastery to bring them special holiday food: maybe some fish and chicken to go along the usual rice and veggies and a can of soda.

The endless lines of monks turn into a sea of serious but festive scarlet tide.

From princes to monks. Mahamuni Paya (Pagoda), Mandalay. Myanmar

A buddisht ceremony where kids, richly dressed prepare to become novice monks (both girls and boys, such as the ones in the photo).

There's a big event in April but this was a more private one in Agust.

Bagan, Myanmar. Imagine yourself on top of a pyramind surrounded by about 4.000 brick temples dating from the XIIIth Century. Red earth soil spilled with green trees. Now try to imagine howto fit that into a single frame.
