Window advertising for FCUK.

I noticed a busker a few weeks back at this spot (see the shot in the comments) and wanted to get a shot of him and the word Dreamer. Couldn't quite get the angle right at the time (people in the way, cafe tables and chairs, etc) but have been keeping my eye on the spot for another opportunity.
This is not the shot I was aiming to get, but I quite liked it anyway :-)

Mines in there somewhere!

On a secondary point, I'm liking the fact that Flickr is trying to do "stuff" to enhance the user experience. I don't necessarily think they've got it 100% right this time, but kudos to them for at least trying. I cannot understand some of their decisions on the new "fluid" layout and the lack of testing is more than obvious. Yes, they are fixing things as we speak, but there are some fundamental decisions that they need to reconsider. I don't think they should abandon what they've done, they just need to fix it properly.

I spent a bit of time yesterday playing about with upload sizes, only to come to the conclusion that it was pointless as Flickr now allows the browser to rescale (badly!) the image you see, rather than only using one of the native sizes, dependent on a number of factors. While my browser/screen-resolution combination is not doing that on my images, I cannot speak for everyone else's combination or images. So at the moment I'm uploading what looks best on my browser/monitor setup and carry on as normal. It's not something I'm going to get het-up about :-)

Taken during this weeks London photowalk. We tried for a while doing some shooting from the hip, that didn't work for me. I could only do it "normally" ;-)
