I love how you can make a scene look totally different by underexposing it and throwing in a flash. I transformed this scene all in camera.

It was dumping rain last night so I wanted to make the most of it. This shot took me about 30 minutes partly because I'm in it.

Taken in the back of our apartment. The camera was laying on the ground right under the overhang of the building set on a 10 second time mode.

Camera Info:
10 second timer mode
60th of sec
f/stop 2.5
iso - 100

Flash info:
on a light stand about 4 or 6 feet behind us
1/2 power
140 or something zoomed

I have yet to see a ring shot like this. And what gives it even more of a creative twist is it was done using a technique called: "free lensing"---where you actually remove the lens from the camera body to achieve a selective focus.
