Well past midnight flying over the brightest spot on planet Earth, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The plane was banking hard to the left here, giving me a straight shot down from 22,000 feet.

Over 1,500,000 people, three airports, eleven separate municipalities, three interstate freeways, 75,000 hotel rooms, and billions of dollars in gambling money are captured in this single exposure.

This is a short teaser trailer for a student film produced at the Department of Screen Arts at the University of Michigan which I wrote and directed. This experimental film about the city of Detroit doubles as my undergraduate honors thesis.

Video on Flickr sounds like a good call to me. Well done. I hope it stays to some good looking work--quirky short films, portraits, and long photograph-like videos of still scenes. Basically anything about the strangeness and vibrancy of the world.
