I just found this totally randomly on the internet. I haven't seen this picture in 25 years.

That is Krazy Horse with the tattooed head in the back. Penny, whose hair was blue- purple (old lady hair dye- Fanci Full, maybe) before it washed out entirely before this picture was taken. Darby, whose hair is pink due to it being put up with Kool-Aid and Aquanet Extra Super Hold - we all coveted Manic Panic but you could only get it from that one place on the Haight in San Francisco [Daljeets! I just remembered], and nobody ever had money, especially not Darby. And that is Lorna in the front, unless I'm mistaken, who was killed maybe two years later.

Scandinavian tundra/taiga flowers. This shot was taken past the arctic circle, past Tromso, Norway, on Kvaloya Island. It grows out of the moss, and birds like the black seeds. I'm not sure if this is really the name of them but that is what it sounded like when I asked someone.

The Sami gather these and use them to stuff pillows. I don't know the real name of this plant- this was the name used as a guess by a person who really spoke mostly French and who hadn't been in Norway very long.
