The New Town Inside Lisbon, Portugal.
"Parque das Nações" is the result of a huge re-urbanization of the east side of Lisbon that arrived with the World Fair "Expo 98".

This wonderful town, in the midle west of Portugal is surrounded by water channels and is frequently called "Portugal's Venice".

Nazaré, In Portugal, is a fishing village were is typical for the women to wear the traditional costume, that includes seven skirts.

I was taking a walk around with my cam hanging on my neck, when this old lady started to call me, asking for a picture of the (7) skirts.

Before I had the oportunity to get a nice position, she began to lift their skirts.

I just pointed, shoot and thanked, before she ended showing something I did no wanted to see... :)

A view Over Sintra - Portugal, and it's National Palace.

This town, in the botton of Sintra's Moutain is surrounded by one of the most beautifull bushes in Portugal. In the middle of this beautifull moutain, you can find palaces, castles and very old monarchic houses and gardens, now, transformed in museums.

O Mosteiro de Santa Maria de Alcobaça, também conhecido como Real Abadia de Santa Maria de Alcobaça ou mais simplesmente como Mosteiro de Alcobaça, é a primeira obra plenamente gótica erguida em solo português. Foi começado em 1178 pelos monges de Cister. Está classificado como Património da Humanidade pela UNESCO e como Monumento Nacional, desde 1910, IPPAR. Em 7 de Julho de 2007, foi eleito como uma das sete maravilhas de Portugal. Em 1834 os monges foram obrigados a abandonar o mosteiro, na sequência da expulsão de todas as ordens religiosas de Portugal durante a administração de Joaquim António de Aguiar, um primeiro-ministro notório pela sua política antieclesiástica.

The Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, also known as the Royal Abbey of Santa Maria de Alcobaça or more simply as the Monastery of Alcobaça is the first Gothic work fully erected in Portuguese soil. It was started in 1178 by Cistercian monks. It is classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and a National Monument since 1910 IPPAR. On July 7, 2007, It was elected as one of the seven wonders of Portugal. In 1834 the monks were forced to leave the monastery, following the expulsion of all religious orders in Portugal during the administration of Joaquim António de Aguiar, a prime minister notorious for his politics against religious orders.

A 17mm view of "Nossa Senhora da Luz" Church in A-dos Cunhados, Torres Vedras, Portugal.
This catholic church, with an exterior facade from 1894, has some parts of it's original construction inside, dated from 1636, such as a multicolored tile's panel.
