After twenty miles on technical mountain bike trails the last quarter mile is on a track. There is something hilarious about that. The burritos and baked goods at the finish were outstanding - a terrific event.

The time displayed at the finish line was for the forty mile race.

Starting Line - the great thing about the Peterson Ridge Rumble is that dogs are allowed in the race (20 mile event only) and it is up to the owner as to whether or not the dog is on or off leash. This leads to some joyful trail pandemonium.

After a coupe of miles on a dirt road most of the 20 and 40 mile courses are along the excellent mountain biking trails nera Sisters, Oregon. Some sections are a little technical. This is a terrific course.

Aid stations are located every four miles or so. This race has excellent food at the aid stations as well as at the finish line.
