Students at Michigan State University unfurl a banner on a parking garage near the Hannah Administration building on April 2, 2012 in East Lansing, Michigan. The action urges the University to vote 'no' on the current energy plan and encourages MSU to become truly "Spartan Green." The 20 x 20 ft banner, reading "Spartan Green? I wish! We need 100% clean energy," was hung as a part of a nationwide week of action in which students across the country will be fighting in solidarity for 100% clean energy at Michigan State University. MSU currently has the country's largest on-campus coal plant, burning over 200,000 tons of coal a year, polluting the air and water, affecting the health of students and the community, and contributing to catastrophic climate change.
