Avvoltoio (Vulture) model by Pasquale D'Auria. Square of tant paper, 35 cm.
i like this model of Pasquale D'Auria, as i saw it first time I knew I had to learn it.
It's not a difficult model, the folds are quite simple, but it becames tridimensional so early, so it's hard (for me obviously) to fold it in the air.
Well, I have to fold it again! It's the fun part!

Tessellation from a hex of tracing paper.
I'm in a strange tessellation period. I can't face figurative origami, they're opening in my hand, no way to have a decent final shaping, I stress and wrap the paper, spread the folds...
But I work well with boring and repetition, well it is another way to improve folding precision. So I'm studying the Book of Erik Gjerde

yesterday evening i had a folding session, only for fun.
The Diaz's Unicorn (30 cm Tant Paper) is always a nice model to fold and is very impressive... i have to improve my no-skill in finish model.
Then for the Maekava period the Easter Dragon for the Chinese Year of the dragon. Printed Kraft paper square of 33 cm
And last, a rose box (Diagrams) of 50 cm Kraft Paper for the candy of my son, He had to bring them to the nursery

A little simply tessallation learned at CDO Convention, thank to Melisande
Sometimes I have the desire to try tessallation, but it's not for me...
I like Melisande work, simply but not so easy, but i admit, i like making boxes, or flowers, or everything that may became a gift.
From a 7,5x7,5 cm of green tant paper, a grid of 24x24.

At last CDO Convention I've bought the new book of Jun Maekawa about origami from A4. (www.giladorigami.com/BO_Genuine_Root2.html)
I love these models they're so easy but impressive. The Reindeer in particular is so nice!
I fold them from an A4 rectangle of Ikea stealing kraft paper (steal for making origami, it is so thin...) the copy paper for this model is too thick and the many layers make them hard to fold.
