There was some crazy weather on Friday night at the park. This double rainbow appeared so close to the beach that I couldn't get wide enough for the whole thing. So I stitched three handheld shot together, maybe not the best job of stitching but I had to work with what I had.

Amazing has really become an over used work. Everything now a days is simply amazing. Really! But I do have to say that I find it amazing that every year these delicate little things pop up in the cold weather to remind us that spring is almost here.

where the ocean meets the Delaware Bay. Also taken with my new Fuji X10. I'm enjoying having this little camera to walk around with, nothing serious just fun snapping. It was a mild, sunny afternoon in late December, temperature in the upper 50's. A perfect day for a walk on the beach in winter.

A Phalaenopsis from Longwood Garden's orchid display... I took this with my Olympus EM-5 and Nikon 50 mm 1.4 lens attached with an adapter. The aperture is fixed at 1.4 and you need to manually focus. I found the dof too shallow most of the times, but I was able to get a few nice shots. But it was fun playing around with different lens on the little camera.

bike #4 The bikes on the boardwalk are prone to rust, this frugal bike rider also added a taped on headlight. But for many, this is their only form of transportation and a little ingenuity is needed.
