took a little walk up beacon hill by myself today, so relaxing. the view is incredible, especially of the cross. great reminder of how amazing our God is.

So we went to this little thrift store thing at UC Davis at they wouldn't sell me the lamp.. lame. I bought all the slides to make it.. I guess I've got to get creative? So awesome though. Bargain of the day..

my new goal is to post at least one photo a day.

I woke up late today.. again. it just seems to be getting harder and harder for me to face the world anymore. I would love to just stay inside and work on clearing my head - that would be nice. tomorrow I leave for a road trip with some of my closest friends, I need this.

Had such a beautiful day hiking with friends.. I'm hoping to do this more often, I need to take more time for myself and for taking pictures. I'm finally learning a little more about my camera and feeling good about it. Must keep learning..

I am absolutely in love with the city of Davis. It is beautiful here, less than a month until I will know if I will be living here come the fall. It feels like home here..

can't decide which one I like better.

so i woke up in one of those funky creative modes.. the skies were gloomy and thats never a good sign. Never the less it was a beautiful day - I should have known better though. The best days seem to end the worst these days. As soon as I'm really happy, it tends to crumble.. fast. Its bittersweet to have such incredible people in my life. It takes a lifetime of hurt, struggle and getting back up to make the most beautiful people.. its just hard when maybe you aren't meant to be a part of their story... for now at least.

sometimes life gets the best of me.

I decided to ditch all of my classes today. I need a "me" day.. its rainy today..

I know this photo isn't the best, but I've never attempted a photo of myself.. its kind of hard to get creative living in dorms.. I need to take more time to do things like this.. taking pictures makes me happy.. yeah.
