Unfortunately, I neglected to take any pictures of the actual food inside...but a full write-up will be coming on our blog, nosimplehighway.wordpress.com! We tried krub, mush, lefse, and more. Caroline was working, since she's on the board. I also met Mr. Berger (I think?) who runs the jewelry shop in Argyle, who was organizing the waiting line. We sat with some very friendly and interesting people, too, who were happy to share their knowledge of Norwegian food with us.

We had enormous pancakes for breakfast -- delicious! Unfortunately, we missed the cinnamon rolls on Saturday.

We were definitely the most under-decorated in the neighborhood (many houses had multiple jack o lanterns, fake spiderwebs, scarecrows, etc.). Even so, we got lots of visitors. We gave out candy to a couple dozen trick or treaters -- very fun!

They still brew their fruit-based beer here (Belgian Red and the Raspberry Sour Ale), as well as small-batch experimental brews.

We were there on a Sunday, so the beer wasn't flowing, but during the week apparently there is an endless stream of beer flowing from these fermenters.
