Bee feeds on purple wildflower in The Nature Conservancy's Disney Wilderness Preserve in Osceola County, Florida. In order to mitigate impacts of future construction on its Walt Disney World site, in Central Florida, Disney bought 8500 acres of the Walker Ranch and turned it over to The Nature Conservancy for management and preservation. The preserve is open to the public.

The sternwheeler Mississippi Queen departs from the Jeffboat, Inc. yard in Jeffersonville, Indiana on its maiden river trial on the Ohio River in early 1976. The new riverboat was ordered by The Delta Queen Steamboat Company of Cincinnati.

Tows move the sternwheeler Misssissippi Queen from the Jeffboat, Inc. Shipyard in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the Louisville Public Wharf for christening ceremony on April 30, 1975. The cruise vessel was built for The Delta Queen Steamboat Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sternwheel cruise vessel Mississippi Queen under construction at the Jeffboat, Inc shipyard on the Ohio River in Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1976. Jeffboat was commissioned for the project by The Delta Queen Steamboat Company of CIncinnati.

Paddlewheel of the Steamboat Delta Queen frames her sistership the Steamboat Mississippi Queen as a towboat moves the still-under-construction cruise vessel from its construction dock at Jeffboat, Inc. in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the Louisville Public Wharf for its christening on April 30, 1975. The Delta Queen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Interior of the Stoney Baynard Plantation House which was built on Hilton Head Island, SC between 1793 and 1810. It burned in 1867. The house was built of tabby which is a form of mud wall made from crushed oyster shells which were burned to form lime which was then mixed with equal proportions water, sand and whole shells.
