Dominica - West Indies

We took a guided tour to Victoria Falls, Glassy Ocean, & Sari Sari Falls. By the time we got to Sari Sari i was thoroughly exhausted .... however I think the view was well worth the hike.

We climed over crazy huge boulders to get here. Or ... rather.... Tim & the guides climed over crazy boulders and I was hoisted over a few of the larger boulders by the guides.

3 mile hike to Bense (on the tiny little Dominica Roads... dodging cars)

2.8 mile "moderate uphill" hike to the Chaudiere pool (through the town of Bense and then through the rainforest)

This picture was taken on one of the hills in the city of Bense before we got to the rainforest part of the hike. As you can see, i worked very hard for this picture.

EDIT - we were also very lucky that our vacation ended just 4 days before hurricane Dean passed through. Here's hoping all the lovely people we met and places we went got through it unscathed.
