Ernie McLean - Disneyland Legend R.I.P.

Gregg L Cooper posted a photo:

I don't make it a habit of re-posting a photo, but today I make an exception...
I am so saddened to hear that one of my very favorite things at Disneyland will be only a memory now, but what a pleasant memory...
The Iconic Jazz guitarist of New Orleans Square, Ernest McLean has passed away...
Daps fanzine has an article here:
www.dapsmagic.com/geekscorner/2012/02/23/disneyland-loses...

Ernie was truly an amazing individual. He is said to be the last Castmember directly hired by Walt Disney in 1966, and just might be the world's first Rock & Roll guitarist, having played with Fats Domino on his first hit , "The Fat Man" in 1949. Ernie played nearly every day at the park. His soft jazz guitar seemed to be a permanent part of the ambiance of New Orleans Square...
I will dearly miss him and his soft Jazz...
