In historic Lafayette, this beautiful lamp post happened to be between two budding trees, so it immediately drew me in.  This makes me feel like I could actually be a photographer since I didn't have to do any major digital enhancement – just played with curves and some touch up here and there.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some strange phenomena occurred during the first few shots I did.  There was some odd blue light streaking across part of the images – has any one else encountered this in night photography?  Do you know what it is? I've heard of security cameras producing such effect but there wasn't one in sight.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
