Kid Cudi- Man on the Moon

What's going on ya'll? Have ya seen the moon? How could ya miss it! It's huge, bright and beautiful. I've had a slight obsession with it for as long as I can remember. It's uhh mesmerizing to say at least. Kinda like that girl at the cafe right? Porcelain perfection man hahah you don't know what to say to it, you just look with this "deep in thought" look (or in my case dumb :P). And against the orange glow of the city, what's more spectacular? Feel me?

Picture perfect day! Which one? All of 'em.
My ol' man use to say, "why choose when you can have it all". Kinda a Tony Montana mind-frame, but in a way he had a point. Some folk see things that are and say why. We should dream things that never were and say "why not". I think that's what the ol' man really meant. I don't talk to him much anymore, but I still think using some of the knowledge he gifted me with. While we watch the world in chaos around us, maybe we should do just what Gandolf said when told by Frodo, "I wish none of this had never happened."

Totally looks like I'm enjoying the view and pissing hahaha I can't claim taking this photo, obviously. I'll tell ya'll about that night in a few days ;) But this is my most favorite (proper spelling) view of Miami! The location itself is just wonderful too. But the view is just wow inspiring, I could chill for hours. It's also where my bike got stolen last year haha so there's a little piece of me here. Man the stories I could tell ya'll . .

I'm so excited cause tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Day!!! 'Nuff said, ya'll won't be hearing much out of me tomorrow x)
By the way, slainte is Gaelic for health, cheers, good luck.

Lupe Fiasco- Coming Up

Hey ya'll!
Yes this is second favorite view of downtown Miami

Lupe Fiasco's LASERS album came out yesterday. If you ever wonder why I put the L.A.S.E.R.S. thing on almost all of my photos recently, it's because not only do I support Lupe and his new album, but I am just so proud of what he went through to put this album out. It just inspires integrity, because he never gave up even when he had lost a lot and when his record label didn't want to put out the album. And when rap is all about drugs, cars, money and hoes, Lupe Fiasco still raps about what hip-hop was based on. And that's an idea of being a rebel to routine, aspiring for better worldwide, and without ever forgetting where we come from, hip-hop paints pictures of the dreams that take us beyond where we come from. And that idea changed the modern world

Pardon my absence :p it was a weird week, and the details are iffy. . so yea. . . great week!
Public transportation is a wonderful thing. I ride it all the time. I'm riding it now! But we sit shoulder to shoulder with a perfect stranger and sometimes never utter a word. It's amazing how comfortable we are on an air tight train through a city, but we'd freak the hell out if that same guy tried to sit next to us at a McDonald's. Strangers are strange. Try to sit next to me at a McDonald's and I'll ask how your days been. The world would be even more amazing if we treated every experience like public transportation: we're in this together, it'll be fast or we may be delayed together. But it's over in a bit.
Now this stranger next to me now is probably reading what I'm writing so I'ma finish typing this and give her a "oh yeah! I would like to go to lunch with you" look. I'll let ya'll know if it works. She's like 50-ish hahaha

How are ya'll doing? Fantastic? Looking forward to an amazing weekend! Hope so :D
So rant of the day was that of freedom.
Freedom- "the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints exemption; immunity from an obligation or duty." <---- Webster definition. Freedom is so easily obtained it seems hard to obtain. At times impossible. The internal freedom some yearn for is simply a state of mind. Like the Empire State of Mind, if a few minute song can make those who've never been to New York feel they are in the state of mind of a city, why can't the Freedom State of Mind be obtained so easily? Bruce Lee (the man) said it can. So simply that when asked why emotional freedom was so hard to feel he responded, "it's the idea of freedom that was hard to grasp. We have all at times felt a feeling we have interpreted as happiness. It is happiness. Don't you know the feeling of freedom is obtained through happiness? It's just a feeling, and feelings define us."

Ideas are amazing things, huh? Like Leo said, an idea, resilient... and is highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. Even after we've had an idea, do we ever really let go of it. We might suspend it, but it's hard to let go of. Webster defines idea as the main thing we are thinking about. . . which is true . . . but it's larger than that. I've try to define 'idea' in my own words and it's hard to actually grasp the idea of an idea.

Aventura- Dile Al Amor

It get's hot in Florida, especially during summer. So believe it or not, I'm frikking hot haha! I was breakdancing earlier today and was just dripping! My clothes were soaked through already, so I figured I'd find a yacht at the docks to jump off of into the water. Good idea, right? Heheh so I'm on top of this boat and about to jump off when an older dude comes from behind me and says, "I'll call the cops." I don't blame him, I'd do the same thing if I saw a kid standing on the roof of my boat about to violate the Atlantic Ocean by foolishly leaping twenty feet into it's almost to good to resist cool waters. What sucked is that I had taken my phone out of my pocket and placed it on a stair step on his boat. Oh well, I jumped off.

I think there's beauty in the simplest things. I'm so easily distracted because of this. Often I catch myself just staring at, ya know, a single star or casually enjoying a simple breeze. . . maybe even too much haha! Infinitely curious and even more devious, my mind just takes random strolls to through the enlightened streets of observation. What would the world be like if we all found as much excitement from the dimmest star :)

Hey ya'll! Having a spectacular week so far?
I was tagged multiple times, but just never get to it. So 10 random facts:
1 Vader was framed! It's true
2 Kiss me, I'm Irish!
3 But the reason I'm darker colored than most Irish is because I'm also half Jamaican x)
4 I love when people say, "This photo was taken when I was younger!" I think, weren't all photos taken when we were younger?
5 I'm skipping x)
6 Probably the reason I have insomnia is because I shot a cow when I was younger.
7 That last part was kinda bad huh? And it made me love beef soooo much!! But on the brighter side, it also inspired me to write a bucket list :)
8 I use a fake ID to get to the top of most buildings I go to.
9 These pants I seem to always be photographed in are one of 4 pairs that look exactly a like.
10 Life is like a roll of toilet paper; the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.
