RPSI steam loco no. 461 crosses the Bagenalstown Viaduct, over the River Barrow, with the RPSI "Mystery Train" railtour from Dublin Connolly bound for Kilkenny.

After arriving light-engine from Waterford, GM 076 stands at Kilkenny ready to shunt release the stock off the RPSI "Mystery Train" railtour from Dublin Connolly. The tour was hauled by steam loco no. 461.

Once the stock was released and the 1240hrs InterCity service from Waterford to Dublin Heuston cleared the section between Lavistown Jct and Muine Bheag (Bagenalstown), 461 was turned using the triangle at Lavistown (Lavistown Jct - Lavistown North Jct - Lavistown South Jct - Lavistown Jct).

GM 076 shunt releases the stock off the RPSI "Mystery Train" railtour from Dublin Connolly at Kilkenny. The tour was hauled by steam loco no. 461.

Once the stock was released and the 1240hrs InterCity service from Waterford to Dublin Heuston cleared the section between Lavistown Jct and Muine Bheag (Bagenalstown), 461 was turned using the triangle at Lavistown (Lavistown Jct - Lavistown North Jct - Lavistown South Jct - Lavistown Jct).

2601/02 passes through the townland of Killacloyne on approach to Glounthaune with the 1945hrs commuter service from Midleton to Cork.

GM 218 heads east through the townland of Killacloyne, hauling the weedsprayer bound for Midleton.

Earlier after GM 083 hauled the sprayer from Mallow to Cobh, 218 (being the standby loco in Cork) hauled the train back from Cobh due to no run-round facilities available at Cobh.

RPSI no. 461 powers through Cush, Co. Kildare with the RPSI "Mystery Train" railtour, which departed Dublin Connolly at 0935. The destination for this train was the Marble City, Kilkenny.

Back in July 2011, I caught GM 080 hauling the RPSI "Mystery Train" from Connolly to Kilkenny at the same location. Click here for the photograph.

With steam loco 461 in platform 2, ICR #30 (22 030) leads another ICR into platform 1 at Kilkenny with the 1240hrs InterCity service from Waterford to Dublin Heuston.

Once this service clears the section between Lavistown Jct and Bagenalstown, no. 461 can be turned using the triangle at Lavistown.
