We just got back from a nice little vacation to Disney World. It was the first time for my son and it was so much fun to experience it with him. This time around, apart from the usual family pics, I wanted to do something a bit different. I wanted to get some darker photos of stuff at the Disney property, and it was challenging. I succeeded in getting some really great creepy shots though. This looked like the Maleficent's pet crow, Diablo, from Sleeping Beauty. It's probably my favorite shot of the Dark Disney series that I shot. I'll post a few more gems later.

My Old Man and Me

It's great to see my Dad again. This trip was important to me because I finally get him. I can relate to him now than I ever could before. It was a very long and arduous road to really relate to him. But it was worth it because I understand him now.
I grew up a little today. And he will continue to help me grow for a long time.

Papa's got a new toy! I found this sweet little number last week at an antique shop in LaConner. And she's in excellent condition for $45. The shutter, aperture, and dials still function well but the glass is a bit foggy on the inner lens. It will cost me a bit to have it fully cleaned and tuned (someday) but I'm gonna try and load it with B/W 120 Ilford 400 ISO medium format film. Later on I'm gonna build a rig to take TTV shots. I have always wanted to use this kind of camera ever since I started taking photos, so I am very excited. I hope to show off some results in the very near future ^_^

The rain here in Seattle has a very commanding presence.
It can be uplifting or crush your spirit.
