After the shock-horror at the flickr changes, now that I am beginning to find my way around I don't feel nearly so bad about it. Most photos do display better on black and some things DO work.

I spoke too soon....the old problems have returned: white pages, dial-up-speed connections....and it's no good seeking help in the forum as it is snowed up with people who hate the new layout.

This photo is from my favourite riverside garden along the Dodder in Dublin.These are columbines, delicate and pretty.

OKAY, SO WE ARE STUCK WITH THIS. we know that they are feeling smug and they won't change it back coz it probably cost them millions to make the changes.

Some answers: To give an admin invite, open the shot and press G;
To send an fmail, open a shot from the person you want to communicate with, hover your cursor over their buddy icon on the right and you will get a drop-down menu, enabling you to fmail them.

To repost a photo, do it in the organiser, Batch edit, edit photos, title, tags, descriptions; dates.

HAS ANYONE FOUND OUT HOW TO REPLACE A PHOTO WITHOUT LOSING COMMENTS ETC?

I've no idea what these flowers are. ID please. There's a whole bush of them in my favourite riverside garden along the Dodder. They bloom from spring to autumn and provide a most pleasant show. They do look a bit like roses, but . . . .

My favourite weir on the River Dodder photographed in this morning's cloudy weather. Glorious sun did appear later, but in this case the greyness seemed to emphasise the greens and yellows. Well, Lightroom played a part too.

SkeletalMess has just come up with a new texture and I just had to try it out -
