I've been going to the Krispy Kreme in downtown Raleigh all my life. My grandfather was a night guard at Central Prison and used to take me when I was a kid.

We went for my daughter's first trip, and got invited to tour in the back. You couldn't really see much you can't see from the window, but it was such a cool experience.

I kinda like how it came out actually, but this was certainly a case of seeing something, and your camera doesn't.

Five Good Things:
1 - Lassiter Falls in Raleigh. A peaceful and beautiful place tucked right behind a big mall.
2 - Snow. We don't see much here in NC.
3 - Flexible job. I just ran out for an hour to catch these shots on a snowy day.
4 - No Line on the Horizon - New U2 came out the day I took this shot. I was listening to it on the way.
5 - Family (again) - my daughter is going to be baptized tomorrow and we have lots of family coming in.

Driving home from work, saw this, rolled the window down, and fired off a few shots. I've been avoiding doing too much PP lately, but did a lot of messing around with colors on this one. It's very desaturated, but not quite monochrome. I'm hoping this image is the end of a recent bout of shooters block.
