Op en top Brits design. Niet de jongste meer, maar zag er toch nog erg goed uit. Het vooraanzicht spreekt mij iets meer aan dan de achterkant, al heeft dit toch ook wel iets. Bedenk er alleen een Londens straatbeeld bij en het plaatje is compleet.

Cool British design. Not the youngest Aston anymore, but he still looked very good. Though, I like the front of this DB7 Vantage better than the back. Imagine this British beauty in a street of London and the picture is complete.

Is dit gaaf? Ja natuurlijk is dit gaaf. Deze brute Britse machine zonder dak is simpelweg fantastisch. Daar valt weinig aan toe te voegen.

Is this cool? Of course it is! This brutal British machine is simply fantastic. More I don't have to say. Or just one more word: Astonishing.

Het is lente en dat is te merken. De exoten komen de garages weer uit en de dakjes gaan open. En omdat het zo'n lekker weer was die dag ben ik ook maar op de fiets naar Amsterdam gegaan. In A'dam-Zuid stond deze fantastische DBS Volante te schitteren, die een leuke Britse combo maakt met de Evoque aan de overkant. Heerlijkheid!

Finally, it's spring! The exotics come out their garages. Roof down and drive, right? And because it was such nice weather, I decided to cycle to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam-South was this fantastic DBS Volante with his roof down. He is also part of the British combo together with the Evoque from England. Magnificent!

TVR Chimaera 500

De TVR Chimaera is apart en anders (zie die achterlichten), maar onderschat de kracht niet van deze Britse sportwagen. Onderhuids ligt een V8 met 325 pk verscholen. Daarnaast rij je in een bijzondere en typisch Engelse cabrio, want hoe vaak kom je nou een Chimaera tegen?

The TVR Chimaera is different. Look at those rear lights! But do not underestimate the power of this car, because underneath the hood is a V8 with 325 hp. Beside that, you drive a special en typical Britsh convertible. Because let's be honest, how often do you see a Chimaera?

Ondanks de kou zou het beter geweest zijn om alle auto's die binnen stonden te schitteren, gewoon buiten op te stellen. De verlichting binnen in de Zaanse RAI maakte het namelijk wel erg moeilijk om te fotograferen. Deze schitterende M6 Cabriolet was trouwens de eerste auto waar ik mijn nieuwe polarisatiefilter op kon testen.

Despite the cold weather, I think it was better if all cars were outside. Much better conditions to photograph. Inside at the 'Zaanse RAI', a car show in the city of Zaandam, the light was terrible. By the way, this M6 Convertible was the first opportunity to test my new polarization filter.

De 'Monte Carlo Blue'-kleur op deze M6 Cabrio ziet er echt fantastisch uit. Hij poseerde voor de ingang van de 'Zaanse RAI', een autobeurs met bijna alle autodealers in de omgeving die hieraan deelnamen.

This 'Monte Carlo Blue'-color looks just fantastic on a M6 Convertible. He stood before the entrance from a car show, the 'Zaanse RAI'. Many dealerships in de area took part in it.

Aardig aan de prijs, maar wat een geweldige wagen in de juiste kleur. En zoveel mooier als zijn voorganger. Dankzij Jarno die mij tipte over deze Zaanse autobeurs.

Quite pricey, but such a wonderful car in the right color. And more beautiful as the previous M6. Thanks to Jarno who told me about this event!

Op een mooie zonnige herfstdag in oktober stond deze Carrera GTS Cabriolet te schitteren in het zonnetje. De reclame van 'De Skihut' is dan wel een beetje jammer.

On a beautiful sunny autumn day in October this Porsche was enjoying the sun. The advertising on the side is a bit pity, but further I like this white Carrera GTS Cabriolet with black rims.

Ferrari California 30

We liepen bijna voorbij aan deze kleine Ferrari-dealer midden in Boedapest. Binnen stonden drie Ferrari's te glimmen; een witte 458 Italia, een zwarte FF en deze California 30, de kleinste telg van de familie.

We didn't saw this Ferrari showroom at first sight, but when we looked back we saw a few shiny Italian supercars in a store. Besides this California 30, there were also a white 458 Italia and a brand new FF.

De winter levert vaak niet veel spots op, dus dit drietal (achter de Panamera staat een Ghost) kwam als een verrassing. Bedekt met een laag sneeuw, ze staan al een aantal dagen stil dus.

Usually you don't see a lot of exclusive cars in the middle of the winter, so these three cars (XKR Convertible, Panamera Turbo and a Rolls-Royce Ghost behind the Panamera) came as a surprise. They stood there already for a few days because they are still covered with snow.

Ferrari 458 Spider

Slowaakse 458 Spider in vuilsniszakkengrijs. En dat staat opvallend goed wanneer je hem in het echt ziet. De herfstkleuren doen het ook altijd goed. Foto bevat wellicht iets teveel reflecties, maar heb ervoor gekozen om het hierbij te laten qua bewerking.

It is really a great color for this (Slovakian) Ferrari, but maybe you have to see it in real life to believe that. The autumn colors are always a nice addition. Maybe to many reflections on this picture, but I think it's alright like this.

De kleur van deze 458 Spider lijkt misschien saai op de foto, in werkelijkheid stond het super op deze Slowaakse Ferrari.

A grey Ferrari boring? Maybe at the photo, but definitely not in real life. This Slovakian 458 Spider looked really amazing.

Terug van een geweldige stedentrip naar Boedapest. De afgelopen vier dagen verbleven we in de Hongaarse hoofdstad en hebben we heel wat moois gezien. Verwacht op het gebied van auto's niet erg veel, maar des te meer van de stad zelf. Lada's en Trabantjes komen ook voorbij. Het mooiste was toch wel deze grijze 458 Spider, geparkeerd voor het 'Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest'. Uit Slowakije, zoals de meeste bijzondere wagens die we zagen.

Back from a amazing city trip to the Hungarian capital Budapest. We've stayed for four days in this great city and we've seen a lot of beautiful things. Don't expect that much of exclusive cars, but even more beautiful buildings and sceneries. And of course, many Russian Lada's and old Trabants. This gray 458 Spider from Slovakia was absolutely the best car I've seen. That was yesterday, in the front of the expensive 'Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest'.

Bommetje als cabrio. De grijze kleur past misschien goed op een Micra, een Abarth verdient naar mijn mening toch een andere kleur. Liefst wit met rode Abarth-tinten.
