A not so common view of the mountains.

A cold night at Lobuche East base camp (4950 metres), with Nuptse lit up by the moon.

We were in bed by 8:30pm in preparation for the 3am wake up call. By 4am we were walking up towards the snow line. We finally reached the summit of Lobuche East at 11am and after spending a short time at 6119 metres we headed back down as quick as we could due to melting snow. Back at camp at 2:30pm.

So far, this is the highest altitude i have achieved... hopefully it won't stay the highest.

10 second exposure.
