We see Church of the Virgin Mary under the Chain ( " Notre Dame Croix de Malte" )

One of the oldest churches in Prague. It was established in 1158 by the Order of the Maltese Knights, together with monastery and hospital. In the first half of the 14th century, the original Romanesque basilica was rebuilt in Gothic style.

Boat Hotel Matylda
The Boat Hotel Matylda is exactly as it sounds; a hotel on a boat, actually two boats. This unique four star hotel is found right on the Vltava River, close to the National Theatre and the Charles Bridge.

It is an idyllic situation on the water, yet right in the historical part of the city close to sites and attractions.

A statue of a young man close to Prague Castle Eastern gate. Rubbing parts of a statue for good fortune is an age old tradition worldwide
Miloš Zet was born on 1 October 1920 in Krasnov at Humpolce in southern Bohemia. Between 1934 - 1937 he attended ceramics school in and after 1945 he studied sculpture in the studio of Professor Karel Pokorny at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He was one of the favored members of the Association of Czech artists and 70th and 80 he worked as a member of an important Prague Czech Fund of Art Commission of Fine Arts for artist collaboration with the architect.

Prague Castle (Czech: Pražský hrad) is a castle in Prague where the Kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman Emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic have had their offices. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept within a hidden room inside it.

According to Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world. It occupies an area of almost 70 000 m², at about 570 metres in length and an average of about 130 metres wide.

Wenceslas Square ( Czech: Václavské náměstí ) , colloquially Václavák is one of the main city squares and the centre of the business and cultural communities in the New Town of Prague, Czech Republic. Many historical events occurred there, and it is a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. The square is named after Saint Wenceslas, the patron saint of Bohemia. It is part of the historic centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site.

Less a square than a boulevard, Wenceslas Square has the shape of a very long (750 m, total area 45,000 m²) rectangle. At that end, the street is dominated by the grand neoclassical Czech National Museum. The northwest end runs up against the border between the New Town and the Old Town. The Vltava river( German: Moldau) is the longest river in the Czech Republic, running north from its source near the German Border in Šumava through Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, and Prague, merging with the Elbe at Mělník. It is 430 km long and drains about 28,090 km2; at their confluence the Vltava actually has more water than the Elbe, but joins the Elbe at a right angle to its flow so that it appears a mere tributary. It covers 31 km within the city.
The best-known of the classical Czech composer Bedřich Smetana's set of six symphonic poems Má vlast ("My Motherland") is called Vltava (or The Moldau), and is a musical depiction of the river's course through Bohemia.

Novotného lávka
Though less known to international audience than Anotnin Dvorak, Bedřich Smetana (1824-1884) is one of the most famous Czech composers, especially to Czechs. His best known works, which helped form the Czech national identity during the late period under Habsburg rule, include the symphonic cycle Ma Vlast (My Country or My Homeland) and 9 operas (among them The Bartered Bride – Prodana Nevesta and The Brandenburgers in Bohemia – Branibori v Cechach).

Most Legií je pražský silniční most přes Vltavu, sedmý po proudu řeky. Most spojuje Národní třídu (v 19. století nesla název Nové aleje) přes Střelecký ostrov s Újezdem a Malou Stranou.

Legion Bridge Prague is a road bridge over the Vltava river, the seventh of the river. The bridge connects the National class (in the 19th century bore the name New alley) across the island with the shooting of this area and the Lesser Town.

On both sides are always placed two towers, which in the early days of the existence of the bridge were used for the collection of tolls. Opening of the bridge took place on 14 June 1901 in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Rašínovo waterfront continues through the tunnel Vyton where it is come railway bridge over Palacky square, where it turns Palacky Bridge, up to Jiráskovo square, in which the mouth Jiráskův bridge. After most of the seafront road itself was accompanied by a riverside, after which the marked cycling routes and some places also serves as a dock. The waterfront is also a thoroughfare with traffic stops and waterfront náplavka also serves as a walking promenade.

Rašínovo nábřeží pokračuje za tunelem přes Výtoň, kde jej nadchází železniční most, přes Palackého náměstí, kde z něj odbočuje Palackého most, až na Jiráskovo náměstí, do nějž ústí Jiráskův most. Po většině délky je samotná nábřežní komunikace doplněna ještě náplavkou, po níž je značena cyklistická trasa a některá místa slouží též jako přístaviště. Nábřeží je zde také dopravní tepnou s provozem tramvají a nábřeží i náplavka slouží jako vycházková promenáda.
