Culvert

Last Sunday morning I was up before first light to check out some new locations - utter fail! Sun came up a little too quick and killed the light! I need to push my self further away from the same old locations....

This culvert feeds it's way into Haverkampsee near to Schlangen - the lake is currently frozen over and I wanted to wade out into the middle to get a different angle on areas I could never frame when the lake is not frozen but I did not feel safe treading on the ice so instead battled through the under growth to capture this shot..

I took this a few meters in front of my previous shot and elevated slightly..

So wet and muggy at the moment :( - Sometimes I kick myself and notice a better composition when sat behind my PC, oh well - heading back here on Sunday!

We get some frost next week :)
