Following the directions from Crow ( through ParkerRiverKid) I gave the creation of an orb a shot as well.

Every year, as my basket planters of tomatoes start to bloom and set fruit, my mouth starts to anticipate that wonderful, warm, sun-sweet flavour of a fresh tomatoe, popped right off the vine.

I always dedicate that first juicy bite to Crow - as her growing climate fails this crop miserably, while I'll have a steady supply from late May to early October.

I've learned to grow this in large planters up on my sundeck... not for better sunshine; just for protection. You see - I have a husky who loves sun-warmed tomatoes as much as I do... but she likes them about two days less ripe, and will quietly, gently stripe any ripening garden ones off the vine before I get to them!

Diogenes of Sinope has departed our fair city, apparently.

Not sure if we are out of honest men, or if city road works just don't see the need for a light at an intersection the E.C. Row Expressway and Huron Line.... I mean, why'd you want a street light at the off-ramps of an expressway when you can play chicken in the dark merging with oncoming semi's??

... because racing down a big laker so you can cut across its wake is a fun joy ride and bounce trip. The underpull of the propeller wash will just add to the excitement...

I am constantly in awe of the lack of sound judgement I see out on the water.. so I document some of the shenanigans I run across and collect them here for you.
