One of the very last photos I ever shot in my old stomping grounds of Naples, Florida before I moved here to Boise, Idaho last week. I wonder how many shots I've taken of this pier.
Night Photography in Naples Florida
PLEASE FAVE AND RATE MY PHOTO SO I'LL KNOW HOW I'M DOING.

I took this image tonight in downtown Naples, Florida near Tin City. I didn't have a tripod so I had to put the camera on a cement pillar. I worked on the composition forever, but I think this one looks best with the main eye-catcher dead center. The white lights along the street are a tad too bright, but it wasn't too bad.

Shot this image of the Naples Pier on Thursday morning while videoing an advertisement for my new landscape photography book .

I used a long exposure of about 2 seconds to capture the streaking of the white sea foam as the waves receded from the beach. The water was a really neat green color on this particular morning, which really helped the overall look of this picture. This is the rare exception in my photostream that is NOT an HDR.

Tin City in downtown Naples, Florida at night. Photomatix didn't render this image well, so I took the 7 exposures from the HDR sequence and manually blended the images together in Photoshop. This helped me get texture and contrast in localized portions of the photo.

This image was taken tonight as part of my inaugural shoot with my brand new Nikon D7000 and Nikon 10-24mm lens.

No color in this mountain sunrise, but it was a beautiful little spot near Pine, Idaho. This is right next to a little hot springs. I tried to capture the steam coming off the water here, but the long exposure for the dark situation made the steam just made the lower portion of the image lose contrast and the steam didn't hold any detail, so I avoided it in this one. This is a 3 exposure HDR covering -3, -1, and +1.
