day one of my very own 100 selfies project.
it took me a while to prepare on this. taking selfies kinda bored me the last couple of months (after quitting my unfinished 365 project). i didn't have creativity anymore. i didn't pick up my camera anymore.

time has come to put my creativity into photography again.
this time i'm gonna finish it :-)

yesterday i got home from a week sun-sea-sand-surf in biarritz-area, atlantic south france.
we had a blast!

sleeping in our tent, breakfast in the sun, surfboards in the car, towel in the sand, sunscreen on my freckled nose, and spending hours in the ocean.

how good can life be?

today first day at work again, and i had to turn up the heater... ughhhhhhhh.

- i'm coughing my lungs out
- itchy itchy all over my body
- i found weed in my underwear (auchhh)

big fun though. so many beautiful shots, i can't really choose..

the butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.

taking this picture was the funniest struggle to not get too much attention from the hundreds of bees flying around in between the gorgeous flowers..

i'm a girl who likes to live in her own fairytales.

when i was a child, i had the same dream over and over again. while i was jumping on my bed, i jumped higher and higher, until, suddenly i got wings and i could fly away.

i'm facinated by wings.
facinated by tiny little birds, butterflies, flying insects (except the creepy ones..)

one day, i'll fly away..

ps. i'm desperately *trying* to catch up. but i don't succeed like i want to. i'm sooo behind uploading pics, i'm sooo behind commenting.
I blame summer. I just don't wanna spend time behind the computer when the weather is so great!!

i guess this weekend was the last 'summerweekend'.
i've been dancing around outside the entire weekend in my summerdresses, ballerinas, summersmiles..

so did my sister.
we went for a duo shoot today. and had an amazing time.

and imo, she is soooooo beautiful in this pic!

but my love for photography was born with that thing.

i'm taking a brake on selfportraits, but will start up real soon again, to begin my "100 selfies in one year" project.

i left home this morning with a camera and 2 lenses and came home this evening with a camera and 4 lenses.

from today, i'm the proud owner of a Canon 24-70 L f/2.8 woohoeeewww. and the temporary guard and user (borrowed it) of a Sigma 10-20. I love these two lenses! will be so awesome, cause i go to paris next weekend...!!!

long exposure try-outs at Plitvice National Park in Croatia.
it was not possible to use a tripod for a "very" long exposure, cause the wooden path shaked due to the walking of people on it.. too bad..
