With acrobatic balance and dexterity the painter placed the long-handled brush in the dangling paint can. Light is the photographer's closest ally and pictures can be created between the play of light and shadow. These strong diagonals make interesting shapes and the rivets appear as a pattern of stitches on a quilt of steel'. (page 36 Moore, D.
