This little fella was snufflin' about the path at Letchmire Pastures, near where I live. They used to be a regular site on the housing estate where I grew up, but this is only the second one I've seen in 6 years of living here.

Aurora UK - reprocessed
Been chasing the Northern lights for a while now - trying to get a shot without even leaving the county never mind the country! haha Last night was the best display I've seen yet but really need it to happen in the dead of winter on a clear night! I'm happy with this shot for now though!

While waiting for the Redstart to show up, there was loads of activity from various juvenile warblers in the near by Hawthorns.... I reckon this one's a Willow warbler

Been trying to get pictures of this young Redstart that's been hanging around Fairburn for the last two days. Managed a few but trying to get a shot of it in flight is proving tricky! They are so fast.

Found this dude foraging about in an old railway sleeper which I often stop to sit on during my travels. I dont know if he lives in there or if he was just looking for some tasty grubs to scoff.
