Over the weekend, i went to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA with my girlfriend Yessica. We both had a BLAST. I also shot another 6 rolls of film with my Leica M2, and another 3 rolls with my Rolleiflex. I shot only film.

The day had it's ups and downs. My Leica M2 rewind knob jammed and i could rewind the last roll. So i had to start only using the Contax T2 and Rollei.

Good thing is that i saw another film shooter there too. A man a few years older than i am with what i thought was a Rolleiflex f/3.5 F. I really wanted to take his photograph, but for some reason i didn't. Not sure if i was unsure how to ask, or if i was having too much of a good time to ask.

But we did have a moment, where he saw my Rollei in hand and we both stared at each other, i raised it and we both smiled and cheered.

One of my favorite shots from the lens. I think this is at f/2, I still have two more rolls of Kodak PX125 that ill process next week. The majority is of Hanah, a friend of mine. It really was a lovely lens.

So i wanted to try out the rare Nikkor N.C 5cm f/1.1 Leica thread mount lens i got recently. (Which i did today)

This lens is crazy huge, and a real blast to photograph with. I haven't got any results back yet, But i bet it'll be killer at f/1.1

It might be departing from me soon, such a lovely lens. I wish i could keep it, but i'll rather get a Summicron DR as a daily shooter than a gem like this.
I'll probably never hold one again.

This is a newly acquired Leica M3 DS. My DREAM camera!

1957, Dual Stroke.

I've already shot 30ish rolls in it without even seeing any results from with it yet. Photographed a wedding with Emily Nguyen the day after i got it, brought it with me to Puerto Rico, and carrying it around with me everywhere with me since then. Hopefully everything is working fine. (Ha!)
The shutter speeds and focus seem accurate, but i am not sure if it is leaking any sort of light. It's fitted with a Canon 50mm f/1.8 (Newer version with black barrel).

I also made a tutorial on my website about how to load a M3, this also applies to Screwmounts. so if anyone want's to learn how to load a Leica, please check it out.

Probably one of my favorite photos from the whole weekend!
I can still remember them putting there arms up and i running 10 feet towards them and snapping this shot.
I do feel i caught a moment, and a wonderful moment at that.
I keep seeing myself shooting more and more, and enjoying shooting my Leica's more and more. Especially the 21mm f/4 SA on my Leica M2. I keep joking around with myself and friends saying it's a overly expensive point and shoot. Because if i shoot at f/8 i have 2 ft 3" to infiniti in focus. One of my most favorite lenses.

I remember focusing on her face, but i have her knee in focus. I was trying out the f/1.1 before i sold it (Which is has).

It's some crazy depth of field from it.
Not the sharpest at f/1.1, but at f/2 mounted on the M9, it was giving some pretty good results.

Here's a better shot of the Rarest Nikkor lens ever made. The Nikkor 5cm f/1.1 N.C Leica Thread Mount lens.

I took a better shot of it today in my studio.

I'm really happy as to how amazing this lens is! It's extremely large, and has the best feel to any lens i have ever owned. I think i can throw this across a room and break someone's leg with it (I won't).

I shot with it today with the Leica M3, and hope when i process the rolls i shot with it next week it'll be amazing.
This lens is probably the rarest it get's, when it comes to Nikkor lenses made for Leica Thread mount.
I don't think i will ever see one of these Nikkor f/1.1 in LTM in my lifetime again.

Before i left to Puerto Rico in June, I assisted a friend and fellow photographer Emily Nguyen at a wedding she was commissioned to do in Brentwood/Moraga. I haven't really had ALOT of experience shooting weddings, but there probably one of my favorite event to photograph.The day was excellent! We photographed the Groom and Bride at home before arriving at beautiful Saint Marys university in Moraga, CA.

I'm really ecstatic on how my images came out from the wedding! Even though i've only seen two rolls from the Fuji. I still have rolls from the Pentax 67, Nikon N80, and Leica M3 to process. I'm hoping even more magic comes out of them!

This was i guess a outake from photographing the bride and groom outside on Saint Mary's grounds.

I recently acquired a Conntax T2, and it's one of the best P&S i have every held. It's also one of my new favorite cameras now.

This is Julia and her mom in the backseat. We were dropping Off her mom at SFO, and i snapped this on the Golden Gate. I wish it was more centered, i'm not used to the Viewfinder i guess.

It's taken me a while to even start to process the rolls of film i shot at Puerto Rico.
I need to go get some C41 rolls processed, and buy some chemistry at Looking Glass in Berkeley or waiting till the semester starts (17th) at DVC to process the oodles of black and white film i shot.
I brought the Nikonos with me to Puerto Rico, because my girlfriend promised me that it'll be raining all the time and that we will be at the beach all the time. I'm glad that i did bring it, I feel it was worth the weight.
From the 5 rolls i already process, this is probably one of my favorite images from them.

I've been quite busy within the last month.
Photographed a wedding with Emily Nguyen, Went to Puerto Rico, Going through scanned negatives i haven't had time for, a few days ago my amazing dog Romeo was crushed by my horse. Alot of things has happen, but i've finally uploaded this image. Been wanting to upload it to Flickr and my site for a while now.

New Leica M3 i got from a trade.
It was in need of a "CLA" but i was told it was working fine
But it wasn't. I needed to lube the Anti-double exposure mechanism.
Every 3-4 frames the shutter release would be frozen and playing with the winding lever free'ed it.
I finally figured that there was a small metal disc inside which was try and was"Metal on Metal" against the top of the inside of the camera. So this disc has a slit and would return to the same spot after it winds and would allow a small lever to pop out and let the shutter fire. but because it was try it would pass where the slit had to be to allow the lever to pop out, and wouldn't return back as it should. a little lube and now it's great.

There's so much emotion in this frame, and it's so natural.
I didn't pose them, they posed themselves to how they wanted it.
