Leica m9

i still don't think i'm having the ideal lens for the m9. having sold my 50mm summicron f2, i end up having the voigtlander 35mm 1.2 as the only usable lens, and it's been great. but when it comes to street shots, i think i would always prefer having a 28mm. this is partly because of the Ricoh GRDIV. 28mm allows me to express myself better, with more freedom. i watch and i snap, more instinctively, and less stressed about not having enough wideness.
i never got used to the 50mm. despite the fact it was much lighter.

This one was shot earlier during the same morning, prior to arriving to the lake. It is the only one from the series that has not been shot from the dock but 1 minute inland. i just could not exclude it, it's probably my favorite.

i was going to skip this one as well as another shot where the lake is technically NOT there. but at the same time, i was seeing this series as a set about Lake Sammamish in particular. so the fact of not seeing the water is secondary, i presume. :)

note: i actually used this same shot, or one from the same moment, for one of my square BW previously posted.
