Got a chance to take a quick walk at the American Tobacco Campus this morning. It's such a beautiful place for great photography...More to come!

A LITTLE HISTORY:

This is the Lucky Strike water tower on the American Tobacco Campus here in Durham, North Carolina. After the Civil War, Washington Duke and his sons decided their brand of bright leaf tobacco would be well suited for the burgeoning cigarette industry. With the inclusion of four rivals, they formed the American Tobacco Company, with such brands as Lucky Strike, Pall Mall, and Tareyton.

For my Birthday my lovely wife surprised me with a day @ the beach! It was wonderful. I got to take some pictures, relax and read. I had a great day today :)

I know I have been gone for a while. I posted a video to show you what I have been up to. Me and good friend are going to self publish a book ( NO BIRDS, NO PLANES, JUST! ) by the end of December. He's Illustrating and I'm writing. I created a video using his images for our pitch of the project to Kickstarter.com. It got cut off on Flickr but you can see the rest HERE.

It doesn't matter your location, if you feel like helping us out feel free to do so, there are tons a cool rewards for any pledge amount. I know funds are a bit low lately so don't feel obligated, if you could share this link ( kck.st/g9yf9J ) to anyone you know, we would greatly appreciate it.

I did not have my camera with me when I went to the comic/graphic novel fest we had here in North Carolina USA. On my way out I remembered I had my cell phone and decided to grab a quick shot of the Silver Sulfer.

Took a vacation to SC and had a tour of Fort Sumter. These cannons greeted me as I entered the fort. Loved the way the bricks and the cannon looked together.
