The stage is being built and final touches are added to the set of CityTV's Breakfast Television at the Secret Garden in Niagara Falls.

The Niagara Falls on the American side, seen with the nightly light show. I find the pure white light shining on the falls to be the prettiest of all the colours shining.

After dinner, it was perfect timing to drive down the road wrapping around Mirror Lake. I stopped the car and found a nice place to take some snaps of the sun setting across Mirror Lake and beyond.

Ski Lift

This ski lift, reaching the little Whiteface summit, was closed for the season. Yet, it still made for a great picture op. with the mountains in the backdrop.

Standing on top of little Whiteface summit, you can see the real summit of Whiteface Mountain not too far in the distance. That day was as clear as a day can get with beautiful blue skies.

The Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club is a pretty good place to stay in Lake Placid. Perched up above the main strip of Lake Placid, it overlooks Mirror Lake, and lets you see the mountainside in the distance.

Seeing this view from the entrance of the lounge within the hotel was quite spectacular. I loved it at first site, and was immediately drawn to it. With the high-backed comfy chairs, it was a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the view. Complete with a bar at the back, and fireplace on the side, this lounge had it all.
