Myers was wounded in the Battle of Missionary Ridge and captured on November 25, 1863. He was subsequently imprisoned until the end of the war, and was released on oath on June 12, 1865. He married Lenora E. Lichtenfielt on February 12, 1879. Myers died October 28, 1882.  &lt;br /&gt;
