Todays photo is of the London Eye. I took it on the last day of my holiday with my Sigma (Love that lens). I've only ever been on this once but would love to go on again. The queues this time were a bit long so I gave it a miss. Hope you like this!
The Ladder To The Blue

I'm Now on Facebook!

Now this looked so inviting when walking around in 34 degree heat! These swimming pool ladders seemed to appear all over the French Rivera. I even saw a few in Monaco. I wanted to capture the clearness of the water so I was really happy when I view this back and saw you could see the sea floor! (Now that was a mouthful!)

I have 4 photographs left from my holiday and these 4 are the best ones I've taken so make sure you look out for them!

I appreciate all your comments! :D
This is a photo I took actually in the famous own of St Tropez. It's such an amazing place I think that everyone should at least try and visit once! There are some mini beaches in the town and this photo is taken on one of them. I saw these rocks and thought that they would make a great photo so I carefully climbed over them and shot the scene.
I hope you like the photo and I promise that I have got much better photos to share later on this week. Just hold on in there :D

Here is another shot of Whitby pier I took and this time this one is in colour! I used a long exposure to get the slight blur in the water and in the sky I wanted. I used no filters and took this at 'The Magic Hour'. All the colours suddenly just burst to life, especially the colours in the sky on the left of the photo. If you look closely enough you can see the ghosts at the end of the pier!
:D

The Shot
- Canon EOS 40D
- Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 @ 10mm
- ISO 100 | f8 | 30 sec | -2ev | Manual Focus | Tripod

The Processing
- Added contrast in Photoshop CS3 (Curves and Levels)
- I used split raw conversions to multi exposure each part of the image (Sky, Pier ...)
- Dodged and Burned
- Altered colour balance and saturation.
This photo was linked on www.yahoo.com for a short while! Thankyou!! :D

Hi everyone, I'm uploading this before school so this is going to be short.
This shot was inspired by Artie | Photography. Heres his photostream: www.flickr.com/photos/artiephotography/ Take a look!

This shot is a 3 exposure split raw conversion converted from 1 RAW image. I didn't use photomatix because it doesn't work for me. I make changes to the image ie. white, black points and nothing happens after i click process. No matter what i change the image always comes out the same. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

Anyway hope you like the photo! :D
I found 1 last photo from France when i was clearing out some files. I need to have my photos more organized!

This is a standard 3 exposure HDR (+2..0..-2 EV) i did on a rocky beach in Brittany. It was taken free hand so it isn't as crisp as i would of liked it to be.
It was taken at the surfing capital of Brittany (these were the only waves i saw that you could physically surf on). You can actually see some surfers in the top right of the photo.

I've been busy taking photos for my local village photo competition so i will upload some of my entries tomorrow.
The End!

Tom Stamp | Photography posted a photo:

I'm Now on Facebook!

Twitter | Website

Decided to try something different today. I very rarely do black & white or sepia photos so I thought I might try one. This is a shot I got at the Chinese new year celebrations that went on in Manchester. I used my sigma 10-20mm (love that lens) to get a nice wide view of the surrounding buildings.

I'm off on holiday for a week so will get have alot of photographs to share when I get back. Watch this space :D

The Shot
- Canon EOS 40D
- Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 @ 10mm
- ISO 400 | f20 | 1/60 sec | Auto Focus

The Processing
- Added contrast in Photoshop CS3 (Curves and Levels)
- I used split raw conversions to multi exposure each part of the image (Sky, Building)
- Desaturated then added some colour
- Dodged and Burned

Comments would be appreciated! :D

Another Centre Parcs shot today. These are the types of lodges you stay at when you visit. I've got a lot more shots with my new sigma 10-20mm coming up so watch out for them! :D And yes the sky was really that colour!
Happy New Year! :D
I've been in Centre Parcs for New Year over the past couple of days and have just taken this shot of the fireworks. They were really good, they were set to Queen songs and fired at the beat of the music!

I've had a chance to go out with my new Sigma 10-20 lens and have got some good photos so look out for them over the next couple of weeks!

Have a good new year!
