Shot from Canon G9 mounted on the hot shoe of my 5D MKii. The white semi-oval on the bottom of the video is my 400mm lens hood.

Update 2: Atlantis will fly again! STS-135 *should* be happening in June.

Update: Made the flickr blog page. I'm honored that this image was chosen as a flickr ambassador for the last flight of Atlantis. Watching six heroes leave this world has been a life changing experience that I doubt I will ever top. I am humbled to be a part of such a great experience and thank you all for looking and commenting. Keep your thoughts with the crew of the STS-132 and the next two shuttle missions and be sure to keep an eye on the sky for passes of ISS! Visible with the naked eye.. Keep space travel alive.

An industrial sized fan is used to inflate the balloon so the burners can be ignited without scorching the fabric or the lines.
