Its time again for some picture of the mountains of gran canaria. We took this picture close to the view point of "cruz de tejeda". You can visit this places by just renting out a car directly at the reception of on of our hotels!

After a visit to the colourful nature and mountains of Gran canaria we are back in the south and at the ocean.

You can see the spacious room of our Hotel Dunas Don Gregory.

If you would open the door to the balcony, you would see nothing else but the deep blue of the endless ocean, smell the salt of te sea, feel the warm sun and .... finally relax ...

The mountain Roque Bentaige is located right in the centre of Gran canaria. Its an ancient place which had big importance for the aborigenes of the island.

Today you can visit the caves & even an museum about the ancient canarian culture!

Autumn on Gran Canaria

Yes, Gran canaria ist the island of the everlasting spring.

But although the temperature is always around 22-28 degrees, there are also small differences regarding nature and weather.

Above all you will notice this differences in the mountains of the island.

Right now the first rainfalls of the winter are beginning to make greener the center of the island.

Also the leaves are getting coloured (as you can see on the picture).

Enjoy the autumn on gran canaria and visit also the mountains.

The island is much much more than just sun & beaches!
