This shot reminded me very much of the ice queen from The Chronicles of Narnia. I was going for a cold look contrasting the pose of the model and facial expression of desperation.
Really enjoyed this photo shoot, the model was extremely easy to work with and I am lucky to have captured quite a few good shots from this! Thank you to all who helped.

An individual in thought is a very interesting topic. Fashion rarely ventures into the world of emotions, usually just a merely touched upon canvas of clothes and poses. I am trying to push the boundaries a little, some background knowledge never did any harm!

Really enjoyed this photo shoot, the model was extremely easy to work with and I am lucky to have captured quite a few good shots from this! Thank you to all who helped.

In light of the new Tim Burton movie "Alice Returns to Wonderland", I thought it was only right to capture a surreal image that represents the garments worn with a hint of realism. The model cowers away from the camera, yet screaming for attention in the choice of clothes. I will be sure to catch the film soon!

Past, Present and Future Project.

This is the start of my exam project based on Mixed Media. It is called "Past, Present and Future". This is exploring my possible future, and me as an elderly woman. The editing adds an edge of unrealism, I want the effects not to be believable, but to spark thoughts. This is along the lines of epic theatre, in which the acting is unbelievable, but thought provoking. I dont want viewers to feel pity for the subject of the picture, but to provoke thoughts of the issues raised by the picture itself, such as old age and escapism.
