I was meant to upload this last Wednesday but never got around to doing it! Wednesday the 22nd of January marked one year since I adopted Rupert!

I've got a whole bunch of updates that I'll post tomorrow.

Robert is my new foster dog! Nobby was adopted yesterday, and has been renamed Dusty!

I believe Robert is a Pit Bull, but is being advertised as a Staffy cross Bulldog in order to preserve his life. He is a gorgeous dog, he is extremely friendly and affectionate!

Week 2 of 52 weeks for Rupert! I couldn't pick between this photo and the one below, but I decided I like the lighting in this one a lot more!

Nobby has a meet and greet on Saturday, with a family who sound perfect for him!

I'm going to take a break from Flickr, except to do this project, upload some photos here and there, and of course, comment on everyone else's pictures. I'm seriously behind on my studies, and need to catch up before the new semester!

Occasionally one, or both, of Rupert's ears will flop. We're not sure why, they've been doing it since he was in foster care!

I decided to have a go at making my own watermark! My sister installed Photoshop for me, I have no idea what I'm doing, so perhaps one day this watermark will improve. But for now, I quite like it, and hopefully it will protect my work!

After a big day of walking, chasing tennis balls, swimming, sunbaking, and being a big fuzzy climbing toy for 4 foster kittens, Rupert settles down to read his favourite book!

I think Cesar is great, I certainly would not be able to own a high energy working dog without this book! And I certainly would not be able to rescue and rehabilitate dogs with problems! This book saves lives!

Meet Rusty my new foster dog, he is a purebred Kelpie, he was picked up as a stray, taken to the shelter, put into foster care, taken to a Farm Sanctuary, adopted, returned to the Farm Sanctuary, and is now in foster care with me. He couldn't go back to the shelter, because they said they would euthanise him. He has some serious issues, it's really hard to get him to focus on people, he jumps on people, he nips and he's just an all round difficult dog. So I'm going to 'rehabilitate' him to make him an appropriate dog for adoption. He's already made so much progress, but has a long way to go! More pics below.

Robert started getting hot spots, I took him back to the shelter to have them checked out by the vet, and they didn't let me have him back. They said he is allergic to something within my environment. :(

Nobby's profile went online today. I sent in this picture, along with the 3 below and a video. But this picture didn't get put up, nor did the video, which was a bit disappointing. This picture was my favourite, and while the video was only short, it was about an hours worth of filming and editing on my sister's part!

You can see Nobby's profile in the link below. But please note that his profile will be pushed further down the page as other dogs are added, and it will be deleted once he is adopted. It is one scorcher of a day here! All the animals are sprawled on the floor, they are far too hot to move. And there are quite a number of bush fires around the state!
